Carford Transmissions Ltd was formed in 1989 by Roger Witherford and Carol Grealey.

Both directors have a wealth of experience in engineering. Roger Witherford has over 40 years hands on experience in the gear cutting trade and Carol Grealey has 30 years plus in sub-contract engineering. In 1991 the senior management team was joined by Peter Grealey who is mainly involved in the design and refurbishment of gearboxes.

There is a skilled and practical workforce with a full understanding of the demands from customers, particularly for breakdowns and repair work.

The company has a wide customer base and include those within the following sectors:

• Fabrication
• Bearing & Transmision Distributors

We operate first hand throughout the United Kingdom and on occasions export to Europe although much of our work is exported abroad via our customers.
